I picked this book from the library as it was in "staff picks" section and once i began reading it, i just could not put it down. I finished it the very same day.Amazing mystery and a classic thriller. The charaters are intriguing and engaging and the story moves very rapidly.Enjoy.
This book always kept me interested, this is one of the best books i have ever read.
I cannot wait to read more, and will hopefully be diving into the Miss Marple series next. I was quite literally on the edge of my seat.
I started with the Holmes stories, and have made my way to Agatha Christie, whose books I have never read. The first I downloaded was And Then There Was None.
I just received my Kindle for Christmas, and was sent on a mystery-reading frenzy sparked by the recent Sherlock Holmes movie. I was so scared that every little noise in the house made me jump.
I started reading it late last night and immediately continued this morning. Since my husband was out running errands, I found myself in the house alone right when the book was reaching its climax.
I have to say that it's probably the first time that a book has made me react in such a way. So, in short, this was a great afternoon read for any mystery lover.
This quite simply the best mystery I have ever and probably will ever read. And Then There Were None will pull you in and not let you go till the very end which i can gaurantee you will not see coming. I`m only thirteen and this is by far my favorite book and if I enjoyed it this young any one can too.
Nine people were summoned to Indian Island by an unknown Mr.Owen, they received letters written with vague details, not really explaining what the purpose of going to Indian Island was. The characters were well developed and complicated, very much like real human beings. It was suspenseful and enjoyable, I had fun trying to figure out who did it. As the number of people starts narrowing down, the guests learn that no one else but themselves is in the island, and that one of them must be the person behind the murders. I recommend this book to everyone who likes mystery, teenagers and adults alike. But, who. After the guests arrive, terrible things happen, people are murdered and no one knows who could possibly be behind the crimes. I give this book a 5.
It doesn't look like any of them will make it out of the island alive.Agatha Christie is not the Queen of Crime for no reason. She really does know who to write a mystery novel. At then end of the book, when I finally learned who the murderer was, I was a little bit surprised, I thought that would be the last person to do something like that. It was really gooood.
